ABOUT ME
Leading With Vision and Purpose
My mission is to lead transformative initiatives that foster community and environmental resilience. As a seasoned policy advocate, government and community affairs manager, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to solving complex challenges and facilitating large-scale projects .
My Story: A Legacy in the Making
In the intersection of law, policy, and community, I have found not just a career but a calling. My journey is one of service, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to amplifying voices often left unheard. Whether walking the halls of government or standing on neighborhood blocks, my purpose has always been clear: to ensure that every policy, every law, and every opportunity for change is rooted in equity, access, and representation.
From my days as a Public Policy Intern at Impact Strategies, under the leadership of Angela Rye, I learned that advocacy is both an art and a responsibility. There, I transformed complex legislative issues into actionable strategies, coordinated grassroots mobilization efforts, and even had the honor of drafting a Presidential Pardon Letter—an experience that solidified my resolve to use the law as a force for liberation. I was not just contributing to campaigns; I was shaping narratives, building coalitions, and standing in the gap for those who deserved justice.
That same passion can be seen in my role as Community Affairs Manager for the City of Atlanta, where I led efforts to bridge municipal policy with the lived experiences of everyday residents. I introduced innovative solutions like AI-powered litter prevention programs and brokered partnerships with national organizations to expand community engagement. A citywide volunteer campaign I helped lead resulted in a 30% increase in participation, proving that when communities are invited to the table, they show up—and show out.
With a foundation in communications from my undergraduate studies, I learned early on the power of storytelling and strategic messaging to shift narratives and influence change. I built on that through a Master of Public Administration, where I gained hands-on experience in public service, governance, and policy implementation. Now, through my Master of Legal Studies at UCLA School of Law, I’ve deepened my understanding of the foundation of law and how to apply it to everyday practice. Under the mentorship of a Chief Immigration Judge, I’ve explored the human impact of immigration law, further affirming my belief that justice must not only be pursued—it must be personal, intentional, and equitable
Outside the traditional spaces of governance and legal institutions, I have proudly worn a crown not just for the sparkle, but for the platform it provides. As Miss Alabama Earth 2021, I represented my home state on a national stage, placing Top 20 at Miss Earth USA and using my reign to champion sustainability, environmental justice, and legislative change. One of my most impactful projects—on the role of green space in reducing crime—garnered bipartisan support and funding, translating academic research into tangible solutions for communities in need.
Today, I continue to serve as a bridge—between institutions and the people, between policy and practice, and between problems and bold, imaginative solutions. I don’t just want to change policy—I want to transform systems, ignite hope, and build a legacy that ensures no one is left behind.
